SSRS Reporting life cycle ?

 Reporting life cycle consists of 3 major stages

                * Authoring

                * Management

                * Delivery

1. Authoring

                * It is the process of completely developing the reports

                * We can decide data source

                * We can design the report in required format

                * Implementing

                                * Parameters

                                * Drilldowns

                                * Drill throughs                 etc

2. Management

                * Once the report was developed we can place it in a centralized location called Report Server. This process is called deployment.

                * Providing security for reports

                * Changing data sources

                * Implementing caching, Snapshots etc

3. Delivery

                * This stage consists of the following steps

                * Delivering the reports in required format like pdf, gif etc formats

                * Creating subscriptions to deliver the reports on scheduled basis.
